Summer School
HDRUK hosts an annual summer school aimed at bringing together PhD students, Early Career Researchers and Technologists to enhance their health data science skills, share their work and discuss new ideas, and develop key professional skills to work in a ‘team science’ manner.
The inaugural Summer School (including a schools engagement event) was hosted in St. Andrews in 2019, and was attended by X fellows from across the UK. <insert videos: one from summer school, the second for schools engagement).
In 2020 we are hosting our first virtual summer school that focusses on three key areas: a symposium to share current research/work, communication skills for various audiences, and a ‘collabor-athon’ to generate new ideas.
