Health Data Research UK appoints two new Board members
As the UK’s national institute for health data science, we are pleased to welcome our two new Board members, Dr Glenn Wells and Edosa Odaro.
Dr Glenn Wells and Edosa Odaro will join our Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) Board as non-Executive Directors and Trustees. They each bring important and additional skills and expertise to our Board, helping us to further deliver our mission to unite the UK’s health data to enable discoveries that improve people’s lives.
Glenn is Director of Strategy and Planning at the Medical Research Council (MRC). He brings skills in research and development, and strategic planning alongside experience in medical devices and life sciences. Glenn is a strong business development professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UCL.
Edosa is Head of Data at AIG. He is a cross-industry transformation leader with expertise in use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data to solve complex real-world problems. Regularly a speaker a high-profile event, Edosa has been named a Financial Times Top 100 Most Influential Leader and is one of the UK’s 30 Most Influential Black Leaders in FinTech and Data.
