Annette is Executive Assistant to Professor Cathie Sudlow, HDR UK Chief Scientist, Deputy Director and Director of the BHF Data Science Centre. Working from home in North Wales, she provides administrative support to the Directors and BHF DSC Senior Management Team.
Annette has over 30 years’ experience of working as a PA/EA in the corporate and public service arena in the UK. Earlier in her career she worked for a United Nations agency in Italy and for a team of geologists in the Middle East. Recent roles have seen her support orthopaedic surgeons in the delivery of a global data evaluation programme, working with an international team to underpin patient safety initiatives. Since early 2020, Annette has been working on national COVID-19 testing projects to enable widescale testing and laboratory provision.
