Jennifer Quint is a Professor of Respiratory Epidemiology jointly appointed across the School of Public Health and the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London. She is an Honorary Consultant Physician in Respiratory Medicine at both the Royal Brompton Hospital and Imperial College London NHS Foundation Trust. Jennifer is also a co-director of the Inflammation and Immunity HDR UK Research Driver Programme.

Jennifer’s research interests centre on the use of electronic health records to study chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) as well as other chronic respiratory diseases including bronchiectasis and asthma. The majority of her work has been on exacerbations of COPD, exploring both the effect of COPD exacerbations on vascular outcomes and the relationship between environmental factors and exacerbations of COPD. Additionally she has undertaken several pieces of work in validation of identification of respiratory diseases in electronic health records.
