Elliot is an epidemiologist and researcher with expertise in statistical methods, health data management and observational research, and in the design and conduct of collaborative real-world evidence studies. He currently works as a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. His research has included pharmacoepidemiology, cystic fibrosis, global health and epidemiology of infectious diseases such as COVID-19.

He previously worked as a statistician at the UK Cystic Fibrosis Registry and supported multiple collaborative health data research projects after completing his postgraduate studies in public health. He also has experience supporting monitoring and evaluation work as a member of the board of trustees of an international non-profit.

Elliott sits on HDR UK’s Impact Committee, who meet monthly to select the most impactful outputs from across the HDR UK community.
