I have always been interested in support, research, provide solutions and statistical graphs analysis that benefit and educate the community. I have been assigned to work under Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, this an awesome environment that brings learning the latest health data research approaches and technologies. My hopes and expectation is that this program will help me to develop and refine my skills. By the time I finish, I will be able to collaborate with health care and system teams to understand organizational needs and devise possible solutions.

Part of my role at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust involves coordinating joint efforts with external partners by ensuring appropriate database use and project design. This will improve my teamwork skills, as I enjoy working as a team player who can fit in any multicultural environments easily.

I’m studying MSc in Advanced Computer Science at University of Leicester. The internship program is a rewarding opportunity and it open doors for my career aspirations. I want to become a Senior Health Data Scientist and starting as a health data scientist intern will be a rewarding learning opportunity. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the past month or so has seen a dramatic change to everyone’s lives, National Health Service (NHS) is doing a great job in educating, helping, supporting the health and wellbeing of communities, to be part of the team in health data industry will be an honour to serve. #tag Hands Face Space!
