I am a third-year PhD student funded by Barts Charity. I work in the REAL Child Health team, part of the Wolfson Institute of Population Health at the Queen Mary University of London. In my research, I focus on social and demographic determinants of children’s health childhood overweight and obesity with the main interest in household level predictors. By now I have derived household level variables from linked Electronic Health Records data, including the overcrowding index and have investigated the relationship between the weights of adults and children sharing households.
Before joining my current team, I obtained a BSc in Developmental Psychology from the Russian State University for the Humanities and an MSc in Big Data Science from the Queen Mary University of London and worked as a research assistant using Bayesian Networks to Extract medical data structure from patients’ EHR data and simulate synthetic data.
