I am a biotechnology student at the University of Nottingham. My current interests are precision medicine and, the use of biomarkers, particularly epigenetic markers in the journey towards preventative disease.
To advance in this field, data research is essential, which is why I am delighted to have the opportunity to learn more about it and develop skills needed to perform it. I also want to be a part of data research in an attempt to tackle data bias which, has the potential to do harm when perpetuated on a large scale.
