Mehrdad is a Health Data Scientist in the BHF Data Science Centre. He has a background in computer engineering with a PhD in Medical Informatics from METU University Ankara. Before joining the HDR UK, Mehrdad was a Research Fellow in Health Data Science at University College London and a Newton International Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. Mehrdad has experience in data-ops, data science in epidemiology, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and privacy-preserving machine learning.
