Ruth joined Health Data Research UK (HDR UK) in January 2022, as the Gateway Digital Content and Community Lead. She plays a central role in the growth and development of the HDR Innovation Gateway. Her responsibilities include creating an engaged community of contributors, promoting the Gateway across diverse audiences, acquiring and moderating Gateway content, providing internal and external support and managing the community forum.
Ruth has an academic background in neuroscience and has held previous roles at Wellcome, the Royal Society, Springer Nature and most recently University College London. She enjoys working with and supporting the research community on projects that facilitate knowledge sharing and champion an open and inclusive scientific agenda.
