I am a biomedical scientist and I also have a master’s in Public Health from Robert Gordon University.
Being part of the internship with HDR UK offers me a practical experience in health data research and analysis. It integrates knowledge from my academic background and my biomedical science practice to enhance in-depth knowledge in the use of health data for proper diagnosis and treatment of health and public health problems, thereby bringing about its implementation in healthcare. I aim to be part of a team in a pathology laboratory or a research institute. At the end of this internship I hope to have learnt about health data research tools and how they can be utilised for the purpose of solving public health issues.
