The HDR UK-Turing Wellcome PhD Programme provides unrivalled opportunities for people from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds who are ambitious to become future leaders in health data science.

Its underlying philosophy is that health data science requires a combination of expertise spanning three fundamental areas: statistical, computational and health sciences.

Our unique four-year programme (led by Director Chris Yau and the PhD team), is funded by the Wellcome Trust and delivered by HDR UK and The Alan Turing Institute to champion scientific excellence.
