Each year, annual prizes are awarded at HDR UK’s Conference which will be taking place in March 2024.

There is also the opportunity to present a 4-minute Lightning Talk.

Applications are now closed.

Reproducibility Recognition

Reproducibility is central to HDR UK’s values.  In an effort to recognise and reward practices which support reproducibility and reuse, applicants were asked to highlight any practices employed by their team that are supporting reproducibility and reuse – such as (but not limited to) pre-registration, use of reporting guidelines, FAIR data, open-source software, registered reports, etc.

Hidden Role

Taking inspiration from the Hidden Ref, HDR UK want to celebrate the practices and people who have had an impact on research delivery such as, but not limited to: data stewards and managers, librarians, technicians, Research Software Engineers, Professional Services Personnel, Research Managers and Administrators. Tell us about novel solutions your team has adopted to solve knotty issues, the level of support provided, etc.

We know that professionals working in technical roles in health data science play a pivotal role in enabling research but are too often under-recognised. That is why we particularly welcome applications to the Hidden Role recognition award from technologists. To find out more about our work supporting the careers of technologists in health data science, please see our page on the Technician Commitment.

These prizes and lightning talks are still open for applications.
