Bill is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Public and Finance Accountants.
Bill established and is principal of his own practice regulated by the ICAEW. Bill worked for the NHS for over 20 years and was Chief Finance Officer of Barts Health Group, Cambridge University Hospital NHS Trust, and Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children NHS Foundation Trust amongst others.
Bill is a Non-Executive Director of University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust where he Chairs the Finance and Investment Committee and the Future Hospital Committee and is a member of the Audit and Risk and Remuneration Committees.
Bill is a member of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care System Finance and Performance Committee and is a Charitable Trustee of the National Centre for Creative Health and a Charitable Trustee of Arts & Health South West.
