I am a physician with a special interest in public health.
My journey into the field of data science began in the early days of my MSc. in Epidemiology and there I discovered how powerful ideas such as modelling, data visualization and artificial intelligence are in finding evidence, communicating them and changing the status quo. This has led to my decision to take this bold step into the world of data.
With the HDRUK Black Internship, I hope to learn a lot about these ideas from experts in the field and apply them myself. This will go a long way in shaping my career as a health data scientist.
