I am a Medical Doctor with years of clinical experience and an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. My MSc dissertation explores convolutional autoencoders for medical image denoising.
I am passionate about applying data-driven solutions to facilitate disease prevention and improved medical diagnosis and treatment. I am fascinated by the potential of AI techniques to enhance the consistency and quality of clinical decision-making for improved medical diagnosis and care, improve the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services and advance the scientific understanding of human health and disease.
Through the HDRUK internship programme, I look forward to honing my knowledge and skills in data science and developing a good understanding of health data to better prepare me for an advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare research.
