Chris Robertson has been Professor of Public Health Epidemiology at the University of Strathclyde since 2002, and also Head of Statistics at Health Protection Scotland (HPS).  He is an applied statistician with interests in the application of Statistics over a wide variety of disciplines. Presently his main research interest is statistical modelling of infectious diseases and epidemiological studies.  This involves linked analyses of infection data, genomic data and electronic health records.  He has expertise in the design and analysis of clinical trials and epidemiological studies, especially for infectious diseases and environmental health, and disease surveillance.
