PEDRI is a partnership between organisations that work with data and statistics to inform policy and practice. The initiative aims to ensure that the views of the public are considered in data research in a meaningful way.
To achieve this goal, the partners are developing a guiding document called the PEDRI Best Practice Standards for the Use of Data for Research and Statistics. The first draft of this document provides clear guidelines for conducting meaningful Public Involvement and Engagement (PIE) in data and research involving the use of public data.
If you are a researcher, PIE professional or member of the public who is how public data is used for research and statistics, PEDRI invites you to read the draft document and share your thoughts on how it can be improved. Your feedback will be critical in shaping the final document.
Please take a moment to share your comments and suggestions by completing this survey found here by 30 June 2023. You can complete the survey as an individual or on behalf of a group/organisation. Your input is valuable and will help ensure that the final document adequately reflects the views of the public.
